TropicalAstral Lda
TropicalAstral Lda is a private adult education provider and translation company, focused mainly on corporate clients in the Algarve area providing private executive business language lessons. Courses are offered in the major European languages. In addition to language training, TropicalAstral offers translations, proofreading, editing, voice-overs and subtitling.
TropicalAstral has significant in-house experience in educational resource, website creation and mobile application development and content building. The owner and key employee of TropicalAstral has also created the teachers’ tool website “The Language Menu”, which has a member base of around 33,000 teachers worldwide. This technical and creative expertise is also a key contribution that TropicalAstral can bring to a project.
While TropicalAstral is a newly incorporated company, it has staff working from many different countries, all which have previously been involved in EU projects in the past.
Teaching material made by TropicalAstral staff can be found (free of charge) in different languages on Scribd.com, TeachersPayTeachers, SlideShare and many other platforms on the internet.

SYNTHESIS
We are Cyprus’ leader in social entrepreneurship and social innovation. We create and implement research and educational projects of social impact (particularly in the fields of social inclusion, employment, entrepreneurship, migrant integration and sustainable development) and manage “”Hub Nicosia,”” a pioneering social innovation hub which houses and supports organizations, entrepreneurs and enterprises with social or environmental mission.
We provide mentoring and support to children and adolescents who are at risk of early school leaving. In addition, we support teachers and schools to develop programmes that can help pupils acquire life and entrepreneurial skills.
We also provide non-formal education to youth and adults. Our beneficiaries are people who are at the risk of social exclusion, including NEET youth, migrants, people with disabilities, or those with fewer opportunities. Our work focuses on developing a combination of knowledge, values and skills which will mobilise youth and adults to fully engage in civic, political and economic life.
As an accredited Vocational Education & Training provider, we focus on the development of training programmes that can empower small enterprises and their employees as well as enhance the employment of people who are at the margin of society.
SYNTHESIS aspires to take part in actions that improve individual lives, enhance social inclusion, and contribute to a green and sustainable future, for the people and the planet.

Innovation Frontiers - IKE
Innovation Frontiers IKE is an education, technology & research company whose main target is to develop new pedagogical approaches. We do this by working in close cooperation with educational institutions, such as universities, schools, adult & vocational centres and education oriented NGOs. Innovation Frontiers IKE believes that new generations grow up in a different world that requires new approaches to education. The company is exploring new ways of using modern technology and modern teaching methods to improve the lifelong learning environment and make learning more accessible and more fun. What is more, the company integrates the implications of educational neuroscience in the classroom to improve the efficiency of learning and teaching.
We develop, implement and coordinate educational projects related to virtual and augmented reality. These projects include robotics, online tutoring, production of digital educational resources, the development of multiplatform educational games, management and optimization of educational platforms, education of media and integration of ICT in classrooms. All this to enhance the learning process.

Learning for Integration - LFI
Learning for Integration (LFI) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2012 in Finland.
The mission of Learning for Integration ry is to promote the learning of languages and cultural sensitivity of migrant, immigrant and refugee children and youth in Finland and other Nordic countries in order to facilitate their integration into the new culture and the development of a multicultural society. In addition, our purpose is to support Swedish learning in Finland.
We have a solid background in language teaching and material creation and we would like to use this experience to support our mission to create language awareness through activities such as playgroups for pre-school children, language exchange groups and free language learning material and eLearning possibilities for all ages.

Welcome Home International - WHI (Co-ordinator)
Welcome Home International believes that integration is a two-way street. We seek innovative methods to support refugees and asylum seekers arriving in our societies. By implementing and designing hands-on projects, we create inviting environments where newcomers and local community members can acquire the tools and information they need to help integration happen naturally.
Currently, Welcome Home International is operating many of its activities in the refugee reception centre Le Petit-Chateau. We have had great success filling a need there for volunteer activities and events that engage the new arrivals with local community members.

Stichting Vrouw en Welzijn
The Foundation for Women and Welfare is engaged in matters of social importance such as first and second-line health care, voluntary work, education, reintegration as well as Mediation & Life coaching.Through training, courses and theme days, we share our knowledge about social issues that affect ethnic groups.We also fulfil an advisory role for professionals to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
The activities we organise relate to Dutch language classes, recreation, sport, art, culture and citizenship.
The ultimate purpose of our organisation is to have people integrated expediently into Dutch Society.
