TropicalAstral Lda
TropicalAstral Lda is a private adult education provider and translation company, focused mainly on corporate clients in the Algarve area providing private executive business language lessons. Courses are offered in the major European languages. In addition to language training, TropicalAstral offers translations, proofreading, editing, voice-overs and subtitling.
TropicalAstral has significant in-house experience in educational resource, website creation and mobile application development and content building. The owner and key employee of TropicalAstral has also created the teachers’ tool website “The Language Menu”, which has a member base of around 33,000 teachers worldwide. This technical and creative expertise is also a key contribution that TropicalAstral can bring to a project.
While TropicalAstral is a newly incorporated company, it has staff working from many different countries, all which have previously been involved in EU projects in the past.
Teaching material made by TropicalAstral staff can be found (free of charge) in different languages on Scribd.com, TeachersPayTeachers, SlideShare and many other platforms on the internet.
SYNTHESIS
We are Cyprus’ leader in social entrepreneurship and social innovation. We create and implement research and educational projects of social impact (particularly in the fields of social inclusion, employment, entrepreneurship, migrant integration and sustainable development) and manage “”Hub Nicosia,”” a pioneering social innovation hub which houses and supports organizations, entrepreneurs and enterprises with social or environmental mission.
We provide mentoring and support to children and adolescents who are at risk of early school leaving. In addition, we support teachers and schools to develop programmes that can help pupils acquire life and entrepreneurial skills.
We also provide non-formal education to youth and adults. Our beneficiaries are people who are at the risk of social exclusion, including NEET youth, migrants, people with disabilities, or those with fewer opportunities. Our work focuses on developing a combination of knowledge, values and skills which will mobilise youth and adults to fully engage in civic, political and economic life.
As an accredited Vocational Education & Training provider, we focus on the development of training programmes that can empower small enterprises and their employees as well as enhance the employment of people who are at the margin of society.
SYNTHESIS aspires to take part in actions that improve individual lives, enhance social inclusion, and contribute to a green and sustainable future, for the people and the planet.
Innovation Frontiers - IKE
Innovation Frontiers IKE is een onderwijs-, technologie- & onderzoeksbedrijf dat zich vooral richt op de ontwikkeling van nieuwe pedagogische benaderingen. Wij doen dit door nauw samen te werken met onderwijsinstellingen, zoals universiteiten, scholen, centra voor volwassenen- en beroepsonderwijs en onderwijsgerichte NGO’s. Innovation Frontiers IKE gelooft dat nieuwe generaties opgroeien in een andere wereld die nieuwe benaderingen van onderwijs vereist. Het bedrijf verkent nieuwe manieren om moderne technologie en moderne onderwijsmethoden te gebruiken om de omgeving voor levenslang leren te verbeteren en leren toegankelijker en leuker te maken. Bovendien integreert het bedrijf de implicaties van educatieve neurowetenschappen in de klas om de efficiëntie van leren en lesgeven te verbeteren.
Wij ontwikkelen, implementeren en coördineren educatieve projecten die verband houden met virtuele en augmented reality. Deze projecten omvatten robotica, online tutoring, productie van digitale leermiddelen, de ontwikkeling van multiplatform educatieve games, beheer en optimalisatie van educatieve platforms, educatie van media en integratie van ICT in klaslokalen. Dit alles om het leerproces te verbeteren.
Learning for Integration - LFI
Learning for Integration (LFI) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2012 in Finland.
The mission of Learning for Integration ry is to promote the learning of languages and cultural sensitivity of migrant, immigrant and refugee children and youth in Finland and other Nordic countries in order to facilitate their integration into the new culture and the development of a multicultural society. In addition, our purpose is to support Swedish learning in Finland.
We have a solid background in language teaching and material creation and we would like to use this experience to support our mission to create language awareness through activities such as playgroups for pre-school children, language exchange groups and free language learning material and eLearning possibilities for all ages.
Welcome Home International - WHI (Co-ordinator)
Welcome Home International gelooft dat integratie tweerichtingsverkeer is. Wij zoeken naar innovatieve methoden om vluchtelingen en asielzoekers die in onze samenleving aankomen te ondersteunen. Door het implementeren en ontwerpen van praktische projecten, creëren we uitnodigende omgevingen waar nieuwkomers en lokale gemeenschapsleden de tools en informatie kunnen krijgen die ze nodig hebben om integratie op een natuurlijke manier te laten verlopen.
Op dit moment is Welcome Home International actief met veel van haar activiteiten in het vluchtelingen opvangcentrum Le Petit-Chateau. We hebben veel succes met het vervullen van de behoefte aan vrijwilligersactiviteiten en evenementen die nieuwkomers verbinden met de lokale bevolking.
Stichting Vrouw en Welzijn
De Stichting Vrouwen en Welzijn houdt zich bezig met zaken van maatschappelijk belang, zoals eerstelijns- en tweedelijnsgezondheidszorg, vrijwilligerswerk, onderwijs, reïntegratie en Mediation & Life coaching.
Door middel van trainingen, cursussen en thema’s
dagen delen we onze kennis over sociale kwesties die van invloed zijn op etnische groepen. Ook vervullen we een adviserende rol voor professionals om de opgedane kennis in de praktijk toe te passen. De activiteiten die we organiseren hebben betrekking op Nederlandse taallessen, recreatie, sport, kunst, cultuur en burgerschap.
Het uiteindelijke doel van onze organisatie is om mensen te laten integreren in de Nederlandse samenleving.
